AWD will be attending the "Welcome Home" event for the veterans on the Spring Triad Honor Fight. The event is held in the main ticketing area of Piedmont Triad International Airport. If you are in the Triad area and able to attend, we would love to have you there to help welcome home our heroes! The flight is scheduled to arrive back at PTI at 20:20 (8:20pm). This year's High Country Heroes 9/11 5K Walk/Ruck promises to be even bigger and better than our inaugural event! In an effort to be able to include more people and have a family friendly event, we will be walking at Ashe Park in Jefferson, NC this year. Pre-registration is required. Our home base will be the Russ Blevins Shelter. There is an 18 hole disc golf course, a playground for the kids and a hiking trail. More information to follow.
